Bye Bye Frosty

For awhile anyways! One good thing about winter is that it brings some of the most beautiful scenery. I love frost on the trees.

Monday

Happy Hellos

Here's my shot at primary colors. This is not in my comfort zone, but I think it turned out okay! Surprised me.

Thanks for looking.

SU cardstock, ribbon, stamps and ink; a piece of plaid paper I picked up somewhere.

Flowers, flowers, everywhere

I can hardly wait until I can plant some flowers! I've got spring fever reeeaaal bad! I guess that's why I've been doing flowers lately. I hope you like this flower card.
I just booked a flight for my mom and I to go on a holiday. We haven't been on one for a long time, so I thought it was about time. We are going to be away the last week in May. I'm looking forward to it.

Spring Fever

Embrace Life

I decided I needed to do a different color combo as I'm getting too comfortable in the colors I've done. Not real crazy about this one.

Tried my hand at a bit of coloring again, even though it doesn't look it. Just a touch on the leaves and stems. Highlighted the CS sides, added ribbon and popped up the saying.

Please leave a message as I would really like to hear from you.

Thanks for visiting.

Wednesday

Lilac Wild Rose

I got this set and here's what I did with it. I love to do the two step stamping (thanks to my Thing a ma Jig). You can't see it very well, but I put some micro beads in the center of the flower. It jazzes it up a bit.

Thanks for visiting.

CS: Lovely Lilac, Elegant Eggplant, White, Old Olive
Ink: same plus Certain Celery
Embellishments: Lilac Rhinestone Brads, Fairy Tale ribbon, white Taffeta ribbon, Micro Beads

and my super duper Cuttlebug embossing.

Tuesday

SBS10 Challenge #1

I'm late, but better late than never. Right?

I know I've used this flower stamp before, but I had to try coloring it. I've not used the happy stamp before, nor the clip.

Hope you like.

Friday

Twins!!

My youngest (she's 8) wanted to copy a card I had done last year. So we each did one. Here are the results. Her's is on the right. I think she did a wonderful job!

Stamp set is Blossoms Abound from SU. Ribbon is from Michaels. Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Green Galore and Gable Green inks also from SU. I used silver paper behind the main image and Jessica heat embossed gold.
Hope you enjoy!

Wednesday

Oh, I had fun making this one!! Ginger Blossom DP and the in colors are the cs. French Flair is stamped on the card; stamped the flower from Pretty Amazing three times and cut out then layered it. Used a brad from the Pretties Kit and popped it out with dimensionals.

Hope you like!

Easter Blessings

This is the card I made for my mom. Gotta love that lovely lilac DSP.
