Valentines

Here's what the girls and I did for Valentines. This year we made them all and stuck a chocolate heart on the back. The top one was just a tester - not crazy about it.

All's well

We are finally over the flu. My daughter and I are all better and life can get back to normal.

Here's two cards I got to do today with some of my new stuff. I got new CS and DP - no stamps this time.

We're home

and I miss the sun and sand so much. Isn't this beautiful? Next time two weeks. I caught a good case of the flu as soon as we got home - feeling sort of human today! My SU demo has my order in, so I'll get that and hopefully share some new cards with you soon.

Holidays!!

We are leaving tomorrow morn (early) for the Dominican Republic. WAHOO!!! Gone for one week to sun and sand - we are all so excited!!!!
In the meantime keep stamping!!

I thought I was done this card, but no, I had to go back to it and add 3 brads and white dots on the scallops. Oh, yes, better!

This next card is one I did because I wanted to use that ribbon. It's sooo gorgeous!! All SU and a bunch of Cuttlebug stuff. It's ..... a card, not the best I've done, but it is okay.

I've gotta start using my camera again. The scanner flattens everything. See the bow on the last card? Not very flattering.

Here we are.....

I got it working. Waahoo!!! Now here are the cards that I've made lately. This first one I did with stamp, ribbon and card stock from SU. The black patterned paper I picked up somewhere, probably Michael's awhile ago.

This next one I did tonight. I had to try a brown, bashful blue, very vanilla with a real red heart. Again, all from SU, including the stamp - Like it a Latte. This looks better in person, the scan bleached it out. Hope you like!!

technical problems. I have a couple more cards to share but I can't get my scanner to work. Aaarrgghh. I will keep working on it and hopefully soon I can show you my latest.

Hello Ladies! I'm looking forward to looking at your blogs. A little about myself: I am truck driver widow - meaning my husband drives truck and is gone for a week or so at a time. This gives me time to stamp when I'm not chasing my daughters (see pics below) to and from their activities. I do work sometimes, not really steady. I have been stamping cards for about 2 years now. I do love it, even though some of my stuff isn't good. It's a learning process, isn't it. I hope you enjoy my blog - I know I'll enjoy yours.
